Answers:
Storing cookies in an airtight container or placing a piece of bread in with them will make them soft, but they won't retain that out of the oven chewiness!.

The secret is MELTING the butter!. Even if the recipe calls for creaming room temperature butter in with the sugar, don't!. Melt the butter completely in the microwave and then mix with the sugar until blended!. Then proceed with the recipe as directed!.

also, replacing some of the white sugar with brown sugar will help keep them moist and chewy!. Brown sugar is molasses infused and will give them an extra chewy bump!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Turn your oven temperature down when you bake them by about 20% so they cook more gently!.
Alternately, you can reduce the cooking time but I would do that as a second option!.

If anything, exposing your biscuits to air will make them go soggy as they absorb moisture from the air!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

stick a peice of bread in ur cookie jar an it will keep them moist an good !. but after awhile the bread will get hard an u will have to put another peice in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Keep them in an airtight tin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

keep it in air tight and then keep it in freezeWww@FoodAQ@Com
