Is jasmine rice a whole grain?!

You can get whole grain jasmine but most of what you see on supermarket shelves is polished white!. You need to seek it out!.

All rice can be sold in whole grain (brown) and polished or white!. Some kinds of rice are very rare as whole grain!. For example, I have not seen brown arborio rice even though it must exist because all rice was brown when harvested!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

not a whole grain just a nice fragrant kind of
WHITE RICE!.!.!.!.I do not know if amaranth would count,
but there is a Chinese rice called
"Forbidden Rice" which is basically black rice, and cooks up purple---it iS whole grain!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
