Blueberry pancakes....?!
I want to make blueberry pancakes!. I only have frozen blueberries, do I need to thaw them first!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I do use them frozen!. Just do not put them in the batter when you are stirring or you will have blue batter!. I just sprinkle them in after I pour the batter into a hot skillet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No, and the reason is because the blueberries will smush all up if defrosted, and you will just end up with bluish batter!. It doesn't take long to defrost berries, and by the time the batter is cooked for the pancakes, the blueberries will be done!. Yes, and make sure they are drained thoroughly!. Add a little less liquid as you are bound to have extra from the blueberries!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
