Is there any difference between pizza sauce and spaghetti sauce?!

Question: Is there any difference between pizza sauce and spaghetti sauce!?
Ok so I'm looking through my cabinets trying to find something to feed my family tonight, as this is a really tight week and we are basically out of groceries and money until Friday!. I found a box of spaghetti, but no sauce, I have some pizza sauce in the fridge, how would that taste!? If not, then maybe I can just put some garlic and butter on the pasta, but I thought maybe pizza sauce could substitute, what do you think!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Generally, there really isn't much difference!. Pizza sauce *tends* to be less spicy and smoother in texture - you won't see chunks of tomato or pepper!. Realistically though it's all pretty much the same, so go for it :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure, use the pizza sauce!. Spaghetti sauce normally has lots more stuff added to it, but you can add garlic and whatever spice you like, for example basil or oregano, to the sauce and it will be just fine!.

I have heard of people making spaghetti pizza!. You make a bed of pasta and top it with the pizza toppings!. Do you have any sausage or cheese to put on top!? I think it would be good!. Hey, you do what you gotta do to fill empty bellies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go for it! It will, of course taste like pizza!. The seasonings are different!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try it! Cooking is all about experimentation!Www@FoodAQ@Com

may have different seasonings, cant imagine any other differenceWww@FoodAQ@Com
