Question: How would I alter a recipe to make it "low fat" for my brother who can't have fatty foods!?

Considering that peanut butter itself is pretty high in fat, you may want to make another kind of cookie!. To make it lower fat, use a butter substitute that is usable for baking (not all are)!. Definitely do not use margarine, since it is more unhealthy than the butter substitute and has trans fat!. If you find a low-fat peanut butter, use that!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Since peanuts are fatty by nature you might want to choose another dessert like a cake made with egg re-placer or just egg whites and using applesauce in place of the oil!. You could just sprinkle it with powdered sugar or make a flavored sugar glaze like with lemon juice and powdered sugar!. Use non=fat milk!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use non-fat milk, reduced fat butter or peanut butter, and whatever else is in the recipe! I made lower calorie cookies by using Equal sweetener instead of plain sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
