I have heard cornstarch has many uses; what r they?!
Answers:
Not related to food, but use it when cleaning up after a puppy!. If a puppy pees on the carpet, cover it with generously with corn starch!. It will absorb all of the liquid in the carpet and under padding!. Let it dry completely and then just vacuum it up!. No stain and not odor left! I suppose it would work for any liquid though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Other than a thickening agent (replacing flour) for sauces, it can be used like talc for dusting the body, sprinkled over the hands when oily to soak the oil, and sprinkling on the kitchen floor for sweeping up glass and loose items!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
breading meat to fry (asian foods, usually)
making shortbread crusts and cookies tenderer (no gluten to toughen up)
thickenr of liquids
soothing chafed skin (use like powder)
