Hi,
I would love a recipe for cheese and onion or salmon with a sauce!.
I have tasted them a few times and thought they were delicious!. I think it was the sauce that made them so!.
Any suggestions!?

Answers:
For a quick tasty sauce, I use Batchelor's (formerly Campbell's) condensed soups!. You can use any combination of fish/turkey/chicken/ham/cheese with peas/broccoli/mushroom/onion as the main ingredients, and whichever soup you think will merge flavours nicely!. Just cook and chop main ingredients (or use ready bought) and mix with soup!. Spoon into vol-au-vent cases!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Feta cheese and red onion would be delicious - just cube the feta cheese and very thinly slice the red onion, then fill the vol-au-vents and re-bake them to melt the feta and cook the onions slightly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

primula cheese spread in the squirty tube!., or try spooning tinned creamed mushrooms in they taste great!. prawns with philadelphia cheese!. salmon with parsley or white or cheese sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Smoked salmon with a little cream makes a lovely filling for a warm vol au vent; add a little tarragon and lemon if you like it zesty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
