I put b-b-q ribs in my crock pot this morning and made it home later today than expected!. The ribs were burned black to a crisp and the sauce is so hard it is like dried cement!. What's the best way to get it out, because the way it is right now, my crock pot looks ruined forever!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Try putting water and a couple of tablespoons of baking soda in it!. Plug it in and let it soak for a few hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just fill it with hot water and dish soap and let it soak overnight!. If when you clean it, there is still a little bit of the burned sauce left, then do the same thing again!. It should be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put automatic dishwashing detergent (the kind you use in the dishwasher) and let it soak!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lazy way: Add enough water to cover the line of burnt gunk and turn the crockpot on for a few hours to soak it off!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hot water and elbow grease!. Just be sure you soak the crock pot, it will be a lot easier that way!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hot water and vinegar!.

Let it soak and it should wipe clean!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
