How do you melt marshmallow?!

Question: How do you melt marshmallow!?
Answers:
If you are using the marshmallow for making rice crispie treats, put the butter in a pan and melt it first!. Then add the marshmallows and keep stirring them in the butter until all the marshmallows have melted!. I always add about 1 tsp of vanilla to the mixture before pouring it over my rice crispies but do the vanilla after you remove the pan from the heat!.

If you are going to melt them over - say - yams - to make candied yams, then just pour the can of yams and it's juices into a cake pan and sprinkle the marshmallows over it!. Put it in a preheated 350o oven until they have melted and you're ready to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best way to melt marshmallows is in a double boiler!. If you don't have a double boiler, then just put the marshmallows in a pot, and put that pot into one that has boiling water in it!. Turn the heat down to low, and keep stirring the marshmallows slowly, until they are all melted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
