You can make a ham on the stove top!. Use a pot that will fit the ham, put some water in the bottom, maybe some honey, pineapples, cover it with foil and let it simmer for a few hours!. It will cook through and be delicious! Baste it with the juices in the pot every now and then and make sure it doesn't run out of liquid or it will taste burnt!. You can of course make Mashed potatoes/yams/turnips/carrots on the stove top!. Boil whatever veg you choose, drain them, mash them then add salt, butter and milk! (or cream cheese to your potatoes if you REALLY want to impress people) You can make some extra mashed potatoes, then in a seperate pot, mix them with breadcrumbs, onions and savory and salt and pepper for a great "stuffing" as well!. For a dessert, you can peel and slice some apples and cook them in some butter on the stove top in a pot, add a bit of cinnamon!. Seperately, make some oatmeal (pour boiling water into some regular oatmeal and add some brown sugar), put some oatmeal in the bottom of a bowl, pour the cooked apples on top and voila!!! your own version of apple crisp/apple pie!! Good luck! I'm sure it will be great!Www@FoodAQ@Com
