"The mulled cider I have come to rely on starts with a 1/2 gallon of apple cider!. Simply pour the apple cider into a large saucepan and allow it to heat up!. While the cider is being heated, prepare 3-5 sticks of cinnamon (or 2-3 tablespoons of ground cinnamon), 2 tablespoons of whole cloves (or 2 teaspoons of ground cloves), and a teaspoon of nutmeg!. ? 1 individual tea bag
? 4 cups apple cider
? 4 cups pineapple juice
Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker; add spice bag!. Cover and cook on low for at least 2 hours!. Discard cloves, cinnamon stick and tea bag before serving!. Do not squeeze tea bag!.

My mother and I just made some the other night and our guests raved about it!. You just get "regular" apple cider from the store, then put it in a pan!. After doing this, cut an orange in half and poke whole cloves all over each half of the orange!. Put this in along with a whole stick of cinnamon!. You could do half an orange if you would like that better or if you're not a huge fan of cloves!.
This is a recipe that has been a family tradition!.!.!.there are probably others that do it as well!. We usually use Musselman's cider, because it's a really good brand, but I don't think it's out in stores quite yet!. Just get whatever apple cider you can find and do what I explained above!. Make sure that you don't bring it to a boil, because you don't want a burnt taste!.!.!.just enough to get it nice and warm so that the flavors can blend well!

You take a load of dessert apples and squish the juice out of them in a cider press!. Then you add yeast and ferment for about a month!. Filter and decant into sterilised bottles and leave them for a few weeks to let the sediment settle!.
