Answers:
Melissa is right! Chocolate - even white chocolate - and water are ENEMIES!!!! The liquid orange coloring is based in water, and it clumped up!. You cannot undo it, so just start anew!

I melt my chocolate in the microwave a small amount of time, stir with a wooden spoon, then more time until it is melted!. I also melt mine over a pan of hot water!. It doesn't take much heat, and I watch to control it like crazy!. After it is melted, you can add the coloring agents!. These will be color wafers which are just white chocolate wafers the color you want your chocolate to be!. OR you can also use powdered colors!. Red plus yellow makes orange, so if you have those you can mix until you get the hue you desire!. Wilton makes both of these products and you can get them at craft stores that sell cake decorating products!. Make sure you buy things that have no water in them!. Hope this helps, and happy Halloween! Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can try to microwave it and get it to melt, blending quickly with a whisk when completely heated!. If you overheated the chocolate and it's actually burned (wouldn't necessarily turn black), there's no getting anything useable out of it now!.

Usually you want to melt the chocolate, blend till smooth and drizzle in small quantities of liquid at a time!. It's even better if the liquid is warmed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unfortunately, once your chocolate seizes, you have to start all over!. The chocolate you were using before can't be saved!. I'd imagine the food color was liquid!. If you add water to chocolate it will seize up!. There should be some other form of food coloring available in your store!. Look for powders or they may have coloring pastes that would work well!. Sorry your chocolate seized up!. Hope it works out for you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try the orange flavored kool aid just put enough in to make it turn the color you need!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you either put too much coloring or your white chocolate isn't melted enough!.
