Can I substitute butter spread for regular butter?!

Question: Can I substitute butter spread for regular butter!?
I bought a "I can't believe it's not butter!" , and I wonder if I can use it to bake baked goods such as cookies and breads!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
in some cases yes but, in others no!. the reason is all the added water to make it spreadable and to give it a lower fat content!. try adding 1/2 shortening with your 1/2 "i cant believe its not butter"!. you will have cookies but generally you will notice they will be much more spread out and flatter!. It really depends on what you decide to bake, but it most cases, yes, you can use it!.

It will work just fine in the baking chemistry (just like shortening), but will it taste the same!? No, not for me anyway!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, just leave to cool before cooking with itWww@FoodAQ@Com

I've done it and not really had a problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
