Chip dip emergency! ?!


Question: Chip dip emergency! !?
So my guest are here in 2 hours and I have no chip dip and cannot get out to the store (that's why I left it so late, thought I could ) I do not have cream cheese, sour cream!. or cottage cheese!. Does anyone have any recipes!? Thanks Www@FoodAQ@Com

JENNY'S CHIP DIP

ground beef
ground sausage or large Italian sausage
Velveeta cheese

Cook ground beef cook sausage or if Italian sausage slice line length-wise and peel skin off both you will need 1/2 to 1 pound of each!. Drain; add large block of Velveeta cheese cut into cubes or slices!. Cook slowly!. Ready to serve when all the cheese is melted!. You can cook it in a slow cooker if you have time, or else add to slow cooker to keep warm!.
This has to stay warm otherwise the cheese will get hard again!. If you don't have a slow cooker, just keep it warm on the stove and serve in smaller amounts with Tostitos!. Excellent dip!.


DIP FOR TACO CHIPS (Microwave)

1 can (17 oz!.) refried beans
1 lb!. lean ground beef, browned
2/3 c!. mild taco sauce
1 (4 oz!.) diced green chilies
1 pkg!. shredded Cheddar cheese

Spread beans in a greased 9 inch round dish!. Spoon cooked meat over beans!. Add chili on top of meat!. Sprinkle cheese over chili and top with taco sauce!. Cover with wax paper and microwave 6-8 minutes!. Garnish with lettuce, chopped and tomatoes!. Dip with your favorite chips!.


BLACK BEAN AND CORN SALSA

1 15 oz!. can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 11 oz!. can whole kernel corn, drained
1 t minced fresh jalpeno pepper
1 avacado, chopped
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1/3 c!. chopped fresh cilantro (or subst!. 1 t dried cilantro)
1/4 c!. diced red onion
1/4 c!. fresh lime juice (about 2 limes, squeezed)
1 t!. salt
tortilla chips for dipping

Combine all ingredients except avacado and chips!. Cover and chill for at least two hours!. Add avacado just before serving!. Serve with chips!.


RAIN FOREST CHIP DIP

2 avocados
2 tbsp!. lemon juice
2 sm!. tomatoes
2 tbsp!. onions, grated
1 tsp!. salt
1/2 tsp!. chili powder
3 tbsp!. mayonnaise
Dash of paprika
1 bag Frito chips

Mash soft ripe avocado in a small bowl!. Thoroughly mix in the lemon juice!. Chop the tomatoes and add to mixture!. Blend in the onion, salt, chili powder and mayonnaise!. Sprinkle with paprika!. (NOTE: If you are making the dip ahead of time, spread mayonnaise over the avocado mixture and refrigerate!. Then blend in mayonnaise when ready to serve!.)

Crockpot beer cheese dip
1/2 cup beer
1/4 tsp!. Tabasco sauce
1 lb!. process cheese spread loaf, cut into cubes
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in 1-2 quart slow cooker!. Cover and cook on HIGH for 40 minutes until cheese melts!. Stir until mixture is smooth!. Scrape down cooker sides!.
Turn heat to LOW!. Dip will hold for 4 hours if you stir it occasionally!.

Serve with pretzels, bread cubes, or crackers!.

Mayonaise Dip

1 c!. mayonnaise
2 tbsp!. milk
1 tsp!. apple cider vinegar
2 tsp!. soy sauce
1 sm!. onion, minced fine
1 clove garlic, minced fine
1 tsp!. ginger

Mix all together and beat well!. Use these variations: dill weed, parsley, chives, green onion or sour cream!.

Curried Mayo Dip
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup pineapple or apricot preserves
1/2 teaspoon curry powder, or to taste
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients and serve

Mexican White Dip
Ingredients
1 cup Miracle Whip
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
1 dash cayenne pepper (to taste depending on how you like it, but it doesnt take much!)
Directions
1Mix all ingredients together with wisk or mixer or blender, etc!.Refrigerate


Use ranch or blue cheese dressing as a dip

I might even use miracle whip and add dill weed and some other spices that I had!.

Plain yogurt w/ dill weed and other spices would also work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the Dip:

* 2 teaspoons olive oil
* 1 small onion, minced
* 2 scallions, thinly sliced, greens and whites separated
* 1 1/4 cups nonfat Greek style yogurt or 1 2/3 cups regular nonfat plain yogurt
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
* 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Make dip: Heat oil over medium heat and add onions and scallion whites!. Cook, stirring often, until golden brown and soft, about 10 minutes!. Remove from heat and allow to cool!.

If using regular yogurt, place it in a strainer lined with a paper towel and set the strainer over a bowl!. Let the yogurt drain and thicken for 20 minutes!.

Combine onions with thickened or Greek-style yogurt, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and scallion greens and stir well to incorporate!. Chill for 1 hour to let flavors meld!. Serve with chips!.

Ingredients

* 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
* 3 1/2 cups corn kernels (from 4 ears fresh white or yellow corn)
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
* 1 cup finely chopped yellow onions
* 1/2 cup finely chopped red bell peppers
* 1/4 cup chopped green onions (green and white parts)
* 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
* 2 teaspoons minced garlic
* 1/2 to 1 cup mayonnaise
* 4 ounces monterey jack or cheddar, shredded
* 4 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded
* 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
* Tortilla chips, for dipping

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F!.

Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat!. Add the corn, salt, and pepper!. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the kernels turn deep golden brown, about 5 minutes!. Transfer to a bowl!. Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in the skillet!. Add the onions and bell peppers and cook, stirring often, until the onions are wilted, about 2 minutes!. Add the green onions, jalapeno, and garlic and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened!. Transfer to the bowl with the corn!. Add the mayonnaise, 1/2 of the monterey jack and half of the cheddar, and the cayenne and mix well!. Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top!. Bake until bubbly and golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes!. Serve hot with the chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

SALSA- jalapenos & tomato blended !. !. !.then in a pan heat a tsp or two of oil and bring to a boil
PICO DE GALLO- cut tomato, jalapenos, onions, cilantro (optional) and you can sprinkle some lemon !. !. !.serve as is
