Question: I want to cook something sweet this weekend!?
tommorow im teaching my sister-inlaw how to cook my home made sauce and i wanted to cook something sweet desert before she came this weekend she is coming tommorow and i can buy ingredients tonight, any ideas!? i was thinking something like a cake, cheesecake, or some coffee flan!?Www@FoodAQ@Com


Answers:
Get a chocolate cake from the store and bake it!.

When it is still hot poke holes in it with a plastic spoon!. Pour a can of sweetened condensed milk over it!. Then heat a jar of Dove hot fudge, pour that over the cake as well!. Now choose your candy bar, i do this with andes mints,snickers, or heath bars!. smash or chop them, sprinkle over the cake and let it cool overnight!. right before you serve it cover with cool whip and a little of the candy bar!.

I bake this for holidays and potlucks!. I never have left overs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chocolate Caramel Brownies -- These I make ALL the time!. If there was 100,000 Star rating I would!. My hubby HAS to have them once a week, LOL



INGREDIENTS
1 (18!.25 ounce) package german chocolate cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup Evaporated Milk, divided
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
35 caramels, unwrapped
2 cups Milk Chocolate Morsels



DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!.
Combine cake mix and nuts in large bowl!. Stir in 2/3 cup evaporated milk and butter (batter will be thick)!. Spread half of batter into ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan!.
Bake for 15 minutes!.
Heat caramels and remaining evaporated milk in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted!. Sprinkle morsels over brownie; drizzle with caramel mixture!.
Drop remaining batter by heaping teaspoon over caramel mixture!.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set!. Cool in pan on wire rack!. Cut into 24 squares!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Almond Mini Chip Shortbread
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter (no substitutions), softened
1/2 cup sugar
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup HERSHEY'S Mini Chips Semi-Sweet Chocolate
Directions:
1!. Heat oven to 350°F!. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan!.

2!. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until fluffy!. Add flour and almond extract; blend well!. Stir in small chocolate chips; pat into prepared pan!.

3!. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown!. Cool 10 minutes; cut into bars or triangles!. Cool completely in pan on wire rack!. About 3 dozen bars!.

Apple Crumble
6 - 8 medium Granny Smith Apples
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Cinnamon Sugar
1 cup Standard Grade Flour
1 cup Brown Sugar
150g Butter
Cream
1) Preheat oven to 180 degrees and set to Bake!. Peel, core and slice apples!. Scatter over the base of a large baking dish!. Sprinkle lemon juice and cinnamon sugar over apples!.
2) Put flour and brown sugar in a mixing bowl!. Chop butter into 1cm cubes and add to flour and brown sugar mix!. Rub butter into the mix until it becomes crumbly!.
3) Sprinkle crumble mix over apples!. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until golden brown!. Serve hot with whipped cream!.

Depends on your level of skill and how much time you want to put into it!. Cheesecake is pretty labor-intensive, but a regular cake or brownies would work if you've got about an hour and don't want to get too involved!. Those are also good recipes for beginners, such as you SIL!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cobbler Supreme; 9 x 13 pan
Cover bottom of pan with canned peach slices loosely drained!. Top with a dry butter pecan cake mix!. Smooth dry ingredients level!. Melt two sticks oleo in microwave!. spread over dry mix evenly to moisten all dry powder surface!. Bake at 350 for 45-50 min!. Serve hot or cold!. Substitute your favorite fruit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get 2 pkgs!. of Fudge Brownie Mix and 3 large Hershey's chocolate candy bars!. Mix first pkg!. of mix and put into greased baking dish, place the candy bars across the top and then put second pkg!. of mix on top of candy!. Bake @ 325* until done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Doll!.!.!.!.!.why don;t u bake something you already know how to bake!.!.that way you won't screw up!.!.!.and then have to go out and buy a dessert on the rush!!!!.!.!.
