How do you make rice crispie cakes?!

Question: How do you make rice crispie cakes!?
me and my friend tried making rice crispie cakes today and it went a bit wrong!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
My first attempt went wrong as well, I cooked the chocolate too long and it burnt - well, not burnt, but it went all clumpy!. :s

Get a pan of boiling water, and put a bowl or plate on the top, with the chocolate in!. Turn the heat down a bit, and keep your eye on it, keep swirling it around with a spoon!. When it's melted, (don't over do it!) pour it onto the rice krispies!. Don't use too many rice krispies, you can always add more!. If you have too many, it comes out rubbish because you don't have enough chocolate!.

Then put them in bun cases and let them set!! Make it with cornflakes!. Yummy!.

And someone told me to put in a spoonful or two of golden syrup in the melting chocolate, it makes it really yummy!!!

Have fun x

If you mean Rice Crispie Treats then its fairly easy!. And when you are mixing the cereal in the marshmallow mix, if you butter your hands really well then the marshmallow doesn't stick all over your hands!.

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package (10 oz!., about 40) regular marshmallows
- OR -
4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies?

1!. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat!. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted!. Remove from heat!.
2!. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal!. Stir until well coated!.

3!. Using buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray!. Cool!. Cut into 2-inch squares!. Best if served the same day!.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes!. Stir until smooth!. Follow steps 2 and 3 above!. Microwave cooking times may vary!.
