Depending on how much longer you think it needs to cook, turn to high heat Might take an hour to finish!. If to long and your family is hungry!. I would place the contents in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes, again depends on how long you think it needs to cook!. Not sure I would use a microwave, but you could!. Probably need a new slow cooker!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds like your pot is not working, or else you used a frozen roast and it wasn't completely thawed!. If you're in a very big hurry cut the roast up into pieces so they'll cook faster- you'll end up with something more like beef stew!. You might put everything in a pot and boil it on the stove if that's faster!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Preheat your oven to about 400 degrees and transfer everything from the crockpot to a casserole dish!. Cover and let cook for about an hour!.

Most pot roasts take about 10 hours to cook on low, 5 hours on high!. Sounds like you might need to think about getting a new crockpot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've removed th roast, and cut slices from all 6 "sides" of it, from the outsides, that are cooked, then toss the center uncooked part back in the crockpot once you all have eaten and enjoyed the gravy/sauce!.

Next time, you might want to thaw your roast first, or put it on High!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Perhaps you had it on Low instead of High!?
Did you put some liquid in, so that heat is conducted to the meat!?
Worst case is that the element is faulty or the power went off!.
Anyway, transfer the roast to an oven-proof pot & finish at 350-400F!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

seven hours and not done!? Get a new one , the thing's not working!.
Use your stove/oven to finish or fastest, MicrowaveWww@FoodAQ@Com

turn up the temperature as high as it will go!.!. hope it works!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
