Ground Beef Stroganoff

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (4!.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup beef broth
1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles

Break up ground meat into a large skillet, and add onion, mushrooms, garlic powder, and mustard powder!. Cook and stir over medium heat until the meat is browned and onion is tender!. Drain off excess fat!.
In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and beef broth!. Stir into beef mixture, and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes!. Do not stir too much!.
Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until done!. Drain!. Serve sauce over hot noodles!.

Ground Beef Pie

1 pound ground beef
1 can mixed vegetables, drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup biscuit baking mix

In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain!. Mix in vegetables!. Press into an ungreased 9-in!. pie plate!. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and cheese!. In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk and biscuit mix just until combined!. Pour over cheese!. Bake at 400 degrees F for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean!.

Ten Minute Dinner

1 Pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
* 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted*
*1 can ( 10 3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup, undiluted*
1 can (15 ounces) mixed vegetables, drained
1 can (5 ounces) chow mein noodles

Brown beef and onion; add both soups, mixed vegetables and 3/4 can of chow mein noodles!. Pour into casserole dish!. Top with remaining chow mein noodles!. Bake at 400 degrees F!. for 10 minutes or until hot!.

NOTE: *Golden Mushroom with Sliced Mushrooms Soup can be substituted for the Cream of Mushroom soup OR Chicken Rice soup can be substituted for the Cream of Chicken soup!.*

hamburgers diane

Ingredients
1 lb ground round
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

1Mix the ground round, salt and pepper together lightly and form into 3 1-inch patties!.

2Melt butter in skillet!. Remove from heat!. Blend mustard into butter, return to heat!. Saute hamburgers on medium heat about 5 minutes each side!. Remove and keep warm!.

3Add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce to pan and stir over low heat until well blended!.

4Return patties to pan and let simmer in juices a few minutes while spooning juice over the top occasionally!.

serve it with pasta or potatoes!

Mexcian Lasange

I make it all the time and everyone loves it!

Cook the ground beef in a skillet with a packet of taco seasoning!.!.!.drain off excees grease/fat!.
In a round baking dish (a deep cake pan usually works)
layer the beef!.!.!.shredded cheddar/ monteray jack/ (pepper jack if you like spicy) and flour tortillas (one per layer) in the pan until you have 4 about 3 layers!.
Finish off the the top layer with a tortilla and a sprinkle of cheese!.
Put in the over for 5 minutes so the cheese melts!.
Serve with sour cream

Mexican skillet dinner
This came from the bag of Uncle Ben's rice and it is very good as a leftover and for lunches!.

1 lb hamburger browned
1 19 oz tin of stewed tomatoes
1 cup rice like Uncle Bens long grain (not minute rice)
1 cup water
1 oxo cube
2 tsp of chili powder!.

Put it in a covered casserole dish and bake until the rice is tender and water absorbed!.
Remove the lid and top with mozzarella and put it back in oven to melt!.

I have done this whole thing in the microwave straight from browning the hamburger and it works very well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Or burritos/tacos!. Brown the meat, drain the fat, add in a spice packet, simmer for about 5 min!., and spend that time grating some cheese, dicing onions, slicing lettuce!. Lay everything out in separate dishes, also salsa and sour cream, and let everyone assemble their own!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
