Recipes with beef sausages and cous cous?!
I want a recipe combining beef sausages with cous cous - I have never used cous cous before and can't find any recipes I really like on the net! Any ideas would be great! Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy a box of Fantastic Brand Cous Cous, the Garlic and Herb ones!. Get some beef sausage from the deli!. Cook the cous cous according to the package!.
Pan sear the sausage, add onions, whole garlic, 1/2 cup chick stock, I thinly sliced pepper (I prefer serrano), 6 peppadew peppers that have been jullianed, heat until all items are cooked!.
To serve, use a bowl (or med plate), cover bottom with cous cous, scoop 2 spoons of the sausage mixture on top and drizzle with a little baslamic vingar!.

Pizza With Whole-Wheat Couscous and Turkey Sausage
Ingredients
* 12 ounces prebaked plain whole wheat pizza crusts (found in bakery or frozen food section)
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 6 ounces precooked turkey sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices (smoked or seasoned with mixed Italian herbs)
* 1 medium red onion, sliced
* 1/2 cup whole wheat couscous
* 1/2 cup water
* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/3 cup prepared pizza or tomato sauce
* 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
* 4 ounces grated mozzarella cheese, about 1 cup
* 2 ounces grated asiago cheese or parmesan cheese, about 1/2 cup

Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit!.

Place pizza crust on a lightly oiled or nonstick baking sheet and set aside!.

Warm olive oil in a saucepan, over medium heat!. Add sausage and onions!. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are softenend, about 5 minutes!.

Add couscous, water, oregano, salt and pepper!. Cover and turn off heat!. Let stand 5 minutes!. Remove lid and fluff with a fork to seperate grains!. Cool to room temperature!.

Ingredients
* 1 large bunch parsley, stems trimmed
* 8 tablespoons olive oil
* 6 tablespoons ice water
* 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
* 2 2-pound racks of lamb, boned, trimmed
* 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
* 7 ounces smoked andouille sausage or hot links, coarsely chopped
* 1 1/2 cups chicken stock or canned low-salt chicken broth
* 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
* 1 cup couscous
* 3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
preparation
Blanch parsley in large pot of boiling salted water for 30 seconds!. Drain!. Transfer to bowl of ice water and cool!. Drain well!. Place parsley, 6 tablespoons oil and 6 tablespoons ice water in blender; purée until well blended!. Strain into small bowl, pressing on solids to extract as much liquid as possible!. Mix in lemon juice!. Season with salt and pepper!. (Parsley jus can be made 1 day ahead!. Cover; chill!. Let stand 1 hour at room temperature before serving!.)
