Please. Why do so many recipes use bell peppers? I am allergic to them.?!


Question: Please!. Why do so many recipes use bell peppers!? I am allergic to them!.!?
Answers:
I imagine the reason is that they are relatively cheap, nutritious, and available all year!. They have a mild flavor that most people can appreciate for adding a slight kick to the food!.

If you dont like them, you can always just leave them out!. Substitute another kind of pepper!. I can't think of any recipe that absolutely depends on them, except stuffed peppers!. Even with that you could use a tomato!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like bell peppers especially the red, yellow and orange ones; these have a sweet taste to them!. My favorite way to eat them is warm after they have been taken right off the grill at the BBQ!. But I have 4 daughters and 2 grandsons that don't like them, so I substitute italian squash were the peppers should be!. It works just as well and is the closest thing consistency wise that I have found, same color too!. maybe you could try this!. Good luck :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

they are yummy, if you are allergic just substitute something in place, either onions or tomatos if they aren't already in use in the recipe, or if you aren't allergic to any other type of pepper, like an Anaheim, Pablano, something like thatWww@FoodAQ@Com

They can't help but add them!. Any peppers of any kind just make something disgusting and horrid!. Not to mention they smell awful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
