I need 12 cups of lettuce for a recipe. How do I measure lettuce?!
Any ideas how much lettuce I should buy to equal 12 cups!? Lettuce is just so fluffy!. How do you measure it anyway!? Do you pack it or just fill the cup loosely!?

I found a list of produce equivalents that I use all the time - link below!. One regular head of lettuce yields appx!. 5 cups of lettuce!. So if you are using small heads 3 should give you what you need!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Buy those bags of lettuce that are pre-shredded!. They usually show how many ounces is in the bag!. You need 96 ounces!. Or just take your heads of lettuce and put them in the scale thing thats in that section and see how many heads it takes to make 96 ounces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well if you don't know how to eyeball it or have something to weigh it, I would just take your standard 2 cup measuring cup and pack it tight into that!. 6 times of course!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
