Answers:
Yes, the recipe is basically ok
Yes, use Ice Water
No, you dont need parchment paper or any grease!. There is enough grease in the dough itself

It sounds OK, use cold water, I'd substitute shortening for half the butter just because I find it easier to work with!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Danelle --- The recipe you posted is not enough pie dough for a 2 crust pie!. and as an old baker
I don't care for butter in a pie crust, but it will work!.
I wish you would try this one!.
2 cups -- all purpose flour
3/4 cup crisco [ or any good grade shortening ]
1 tea spoon sugar
1 tea spoon salt
4 Table spoons Very Cold Water !!
--------------------------------------!.!.!.
mix salt and sugar with flour stir to mix well
add shortening cut into flour with a pastry blender or use your fingers until it looks like course meal with a few small lumps in it, add very cold water 1 Table spoon at a time stirring gently with a fork until it forms a ball!.
wrap in plastic wrap place in frig!. chill for 30 minute!. This will make enough dough for a 2 crust pie!. Hope this helps you!. Gods speed!.
NO need to grease pan!. Bake on middle shelf of oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
