Yes!. But it is a little more work!. You have noticed that the skin is very smooth and breading or batter does not stick!. Try peeling them!. I use a propane torch to blacken the skin then put them in a plastic bag for a few minutes!. Then I just rub the skin off!. Wear gloves!. Batter and/ or braeding will stick to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
INGREDIENTS
24 ounces cream cheese, softened
12 ounces jalapeno peppers, seeded and halved
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup dry crushed bread crumbs
2 quarts oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese!. Spoon this mixture into the jalapeno pepper halves!.
Put the milk and flour into two separate small bowls!. Dip the stuffed jalapenos first into the milk then into the flour, making sure they are well coated with each!. Allow the coated jalapenos to dry for about 10 minutes!.
Dip the jalapenos in milk again and roll them through the crushed breadcrumbs!. Allow them to dry, then repeat to ensure the entire surface of the jalapeno is coated!.
In a medium skillet, heat the oil to 365 degrees F ( 180 degrees C)!. Deep fry the coated jalapenos 2 to 3 minutes each, until golden brown!. Remove and let drain on a paper towel!.
If you have a fry basket you could also try to set them in the bottom of the basket after you have coated them and then stick them into the grease instead of dropping them in Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut the tops off the jalepenos
Core them
Stick a chunk of cheddar or any cheese in them
Wrap bacon around them
And then secure the bacon with a toothpick
Then she just cooks them in our toaster oven or on the grill or in the oven in like a muffin pan!.!.
