Never mind wealth distribution, how do you spread the dough?!

Question: Never mind wealth distribution, how do you spread the dough!?
Okay, I take the dough ball from the beepin breadmaker and gloop the stuff onto a bacon-fat-greased cookie sheet!. Then I fight with this darned memory' dough, trying to get it distributed in all directions so as to cover the floor of the shallow sheet (and some on the kitchen floor too) in an even manner!. For several minutes it resembles a moonscape, with rilles and hills and cratered holes down to where I can see the cookie sheet!. I try to drag a "hill" of dough over to fill some crater, only to really start a friggin mess!

How can this job be done more efficiently!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
For starters I would take the dough out and put it on a floured board and put a little more flour on the top of the dough!. Then work the dough with your hands until workable then put on sheet and pat out with hands!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are trying to work dough on a greased baking pan no wonder you are frustrated!

Follow Judy's advise and turn the dough out on a floured surface!. be sure to have your hands floured and add a little to the top of the dough before you start handling it!.

Using a rolling pin also helps spread your dough evenly!.

Good Luck!
