Heavy Cream Substitute?!


Question: Heavy Cream Substitute!?
I'm planning to use this recipe:

Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted and cooled

Directions:
Use in place of one cup heavy cream!.

Do I need to put it into the mixer for a while as well!? Will it be okay anyways!?

also, I'm planning to use this with chocolate pudding along with evaporated milk!. Can this be left out of the fridge for say-- about six hours!? Will it last!? Hope so!

Answers:
since you'll be heating everything as you make the pudding, no need to mix the melted butter and milk!. This replaces cream but putting the fat back into the milk!.
It is unlikely to be harmed in 6 hours; although most health boards would say 2 hrs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
