Not sure what they're called, but they are the larvae for a moth!.!.!.I've had them before in spices!. Just throw out the spices and invest in some smaller amounts of the spices you like to use from a reputable bulk spice supply (I like to buy just small quantities from Sprouts spice bins)!. Keep them in the original little bags, with the name and date you bought them marked on the bag and store in a tight-sealing plastic or glass container!. After 6 months to a year, throw them out or use them up and buy new!. If you find you are throwing out a lot, you will know to buy less the next time!.
My friend has just had this problem and she has thrown all her dry-goods out (flour, sugar, cornmeal, etc)!. Now she has bought new and is storing them in large glass containers with tight-fitting lids!.
I hope this has helped! Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

nonono!. not maggots- weevils!.

they are probably dried up!. not harmful, just gross!.

try putting your spices in airtight containers or the freezer!.

good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
