Apple Coffee Cake

Ingredients
2 apples (diced)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
200 ml vegetable oil
62!.5 ml brewed coffee
1!.5 teaspoons Rum extract

300g plain flour (shifted)
220g caster brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
150g Raisins and roasted almonds

Action
a!. Mix apples and cinnamon powder, in a mixing bowl!.
b!. Add eggs, oil, coffee, and rum, mix lightly!.
c!. Add the rest gradually in, and mix well!.
d!. Preheat oven at 180°C!.
e!. Butter the 24 cm round baking tray!.
f!. Pour them in the baking tray, and bake for 1 hour!.
(cake tester comes out clean)

Note: This cake is quite heavy!.


Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients
240g flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
50g sugar
75g butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
185 ml milk
1 egg (beaten)
Large strawberries

Action
a!. Mix and sift dry ingredients 3 times!.
b!. Rub in the butter, add milk and egg!.
c!. Bake in preheated 180°C oven for about 15 minutes!.
d!. Cut and open the cake, butter and insert strawberries!.
e!. Top with strawberries and whipped cream!.

Note: This dough can make 6 individual cakes!.


Cheese Cake

Ingredients A for the crust
200g biscuits crumb
(keep 1 tablespoon for decoration)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
125g unsalted melted butter

Ingredients B for the filings
250g low salt and low fat cottage cheese
3 large eggs
2 tablespoon corn flour
150g caster sugar
1/4 cup spur cream
1/4 cup vanilla flavored, low fat yogurt
1 lemon juice
1 tablespoon crystal sugar (for decoration)

Action
a!. Mix A ingredients, until combined!.
b!. Sprinkle corn flour in the 23 cm spring form tin!.
c!. Press the mixture to the base, and half way up
the sides of the tin!.
d!. Place the tin in the refrigerator for about
20 minutes, until it is firm!.
e!. While waiting for the crust, place cheese
in the bowl, beat till smooth with mixer!.
f!. Add B ingredients,mix until smooth!.
g!. Take out the crust, pour mixture in it!.
h!. Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for about 1 hour,
or till set!.
i!. Open the door, and cool it completely,
in the oven!.
j!. Then remove the tin!.
k!. Mix crystal sugar, and the crumbs!.
l!. Sprinkle over the cheese cake, and serve!.


Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
200g sugar
110g butter
1 egg
120 ml milk
1/2 teaspoon soda
180g flour
150g raisins and nuts
2 squares melted chocolate (add last)

Action
a!. Combine all ingredients!.
b!. Drop them on greased baking tin, and bake in,
a preheated 175°C oven for about 20 minutes!.


Pumpkin Cookies

Ingredients A
75g butter
100g sugar
2 eggs
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well!.

Ingredients B
225g self-raising flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well!.

Ingredients C
200g oats flakes
100g dates (chopped)
125g raisins
75g walnuts (chopped)
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well!.


Ingredients D
150g pumpkin (meshed)

Action
a!. Mix the ingredients A to the pumpkin!.
b!. Add the ingredients B, mix well!.
c!. Add the ingredients C, mix well to the dough is formed!.
d!. Make small dough balls, put them in a greased,
baking tray!.
e!. Flatten them slightly with a wet fork!.
f!. Bake them in a 200°C preheated oven for about,
12 minutes!.
g!. Let cool on the rack!.

Note: This makes about 72 pieces!.


Peanut Butter Orange Biscuits

Ingredients
240g flour (sifted)
4 teaspoon baking powder (sifted)
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoon grated orange rind
180 ml cold water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon peanut butter
Powdered sugar (moistened with orange juice)

Action
a!. Mix butter with flour, baking powder and salt thoroughly!.
b!. Moisten orange rind with cold water!.
c!. Add 1 tablespoon of orange rind into the flour mixture!.
d!. Roll the dough thin and cut into rounds!.
e!. On one side of the biscuit place a teaspoon of peanut butter!.
f!. Place another biscuit on top of the peanut butter!.
g!. Press together gently the spread and tops with
powdered sugar!.
h!. Sprinkle with orange rind!.
i!. Bake in 200°C oven, for about 10 to 12 minutes!.


Wonderful Bonbons

Ingredients
500g confectioners' sugar
2 egg whites
30g grated chocolate
50g chopped cocoanut
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Red color
1 teaspoon raspberry extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract
Melted chocolate
2 tablespoons water

Action
a!. Beat 1 egg white lightly, mix it with the water, then work
in the confectioners' sugar, making a stiff paste!.
b!. Divide it into 3 portions!.
c!. Work the grated chocolate and vanilla extract into
one piece!.
d!. Another piece, color pink with the red color and
flavor with the raspberry extract!.
e!. Leave one piece white and flavor with the lemon extract!.
f!. Roll each piece out to about the thickness of 1/2 cm,
and brush very lightly over with egg white!.
g!. Place the layers on top of each other; brush both

Cheese Stuffed Pull-Apart
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 can (7!.5 oz) Pillsbury? refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
10 cubes (3/4 inch) Cheddar, Monterrey Jack or mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup pizza sauce, heated, if desired


DIRECTIONS
1!. Heat oven to 375°F!. Spray 8-inch round pan with cooking spray!. In small bowl, stir together Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning!.
2!. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; flatten each to a 2-inch round!. Place 1 cheese cube in center of each biscuit round!. Bring dough up around cheese cube; press edge to seal and shape into a ball!. Roll in butter, then in Parmesan cheese mixture!. Place 1/4 inch apart in pan!.

This is a remarkable Flourless Chocolate Cake recipe!. It's actually pretty easy and I always receive inquiries for the recipe!.

Gateau Lawrence

Ingredients:
6 ? ounces bittersweet (60 percent cocoa) chocolate (Ghiradelli)
12 tablespoons (1 ? sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
2/3 cup of sugar
1 2/3 cups (7 ounces) ground sliced almonds (grind in a food processor or blender)
4 large eggs, separated

For the icing:
3 ? ounces bittersweet (60 percent cocoa) chocolate (Ghiradelli)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Method:
Heat the oven to 300°F!. Line a 10-inch spring-form pan with parchment paper (not wax paper)!. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt it in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (or use a double boiler if you have one)!. Remove from the heat and cool until tepid!. Cream together the butter and sugar until soft and creamy using an electric mixer!. Add the ground almonds, egg yolks, and melted chocolate, and beat until evenly blended!. Whisk the egg whites until stiff, add to the cake mixture, and quickly fold in until evenly mixed using a rubber spatula!. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 35 minutes!. A light crust will form on the top and the middle should still be a little squishy!. Leave to cool a little before carefully removing the sides!. Cool on a wire rack!. Slide a long knife under the cake to release it from the parchment, but leave the cake on the paper!.

For the icing:
Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water!. Spread evenly over the top of the cake and leave to set!.

please trust me when I say, you do not need to master this any longer!. The search for hthe best recipe or great bisquits has ended for me!. Go to Walmart and buy the buttermilk Walmart brand or Mary B's brand from their frozen food section!. Dont get Pilsbury, its only ok!.!.!.not as good!.

Follow baking instructions and put onto a foiled and sprayed cookie sheet for easy removal and cleanup!.
