Question: How do you like your Sweet Potatoes on Thanksgiving!?

I wash, oil and bake!. then cool, peel and slice in 1 inch rounds!. in a pot I add 1/2 cup real maple syrup, 1cup light brown sugar, 1/2 stick butter, bring to boil, add 1/2 cup chopped pecans and cook 1 min!. place sweet potatoes in glass dish, pour syrup over them and bake for 30 min in 350 over!. very good and everyone at Thanksgiving loves them!. I all ways have family over, 25 to 30 people!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sweet potato casserole!.Bake potatoes in oven, mash, add 2 eggs, one cup sugar three fourth cup butter, one half cup milk, one teaspoon vanilla Top this with combination one half cup brown sugar, one third cup flour
two tablespoon butter(softened) one half cup pecans (chopped) Put in oven and bake till heated through and through!. Serve warmWww@FoodAQ@Com

Make them drunk!!

in a small sauce pan melt 1/2 stick of butter
add 1/2 cup of brown sugar
add 1/3 cup of sherry - add some more if it gets too thick
1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon

put your peeled and cut sweet potatoes and lay them flat in a baking dish and pour the mixture all over!.

bake at 325 for about 1 hr or until tender!.

Mashed with a little bit of butter and salt and pepper!. The catch!.!.!.!. they do have to be sweet potatoes, not yams (and the stores where I live don't know the difference)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I prefer yams and I don't usually eat them on Thanksgiving!.
