I cook them outside sometimes in my husband's fish fryer and sometimes inside depending on the weather!.

Chicken Liver
1 Pound Chicken Livers, Washed And Dried
2 Tablespoons Buttermilk
2 Eggs, Beaten
Flour
Oil
Salt And Pepper
Season chicken livers with pepper!. Add buttermilk to beaten eggs and dip livers in to egg mixture!. Roll in flour and coat livers well!. heat about 1/4 inch oil in a heavy skillet and brown livers on both sides!. Lower heat and cook until tender about 15 to 20 minutes!. Remove from skillet, drain on paper towels, salt and pepper again and serve immediately!.

I do not but if I were you I would follow this easy and great recipe!.

1 lb!. chicken livers
1/2 c!. flour
1/2 c!. cornmeal
1 tsp!. salt
1/2 tsp!. black pepper
1 sm!. can mushrooms
1 lg!. onion
1 med!. green pepper (sweet)
1/2 c!. cooking oil
Mix flour, cornmeal, salt and black pepper!. Roll chicken livers in flour mixture!. Fry livers in cooking oil until browned on both sides!. Add rest of ingredients!. Cook slow until vegetables are done!. Serves 4!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love fried chicken livers and they are so easy to make (except for the spattering grease thing):
Rinse your livers and cut them in half where they naturally separate!. Sprinkle them with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders!. Dredge in flour and fry in grease (bacon grease is the absolute best)!. The trick is not to over-cook!. You want to brown them on both sides and when you cut into them, they should be ever so slightly pink in the middle!. If they are gray-they will be dry and bitter tasting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
