Question: Whats a new recipe I can make with leg quarters for my family of 6!?
I don't want, grilled, BBQed, fried, baked!. I would make one of these if it was a new a nd fresh recipe that we have not tried!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I personally like to take them and wash them and remove all the little pieces of fat, then place them in a microwave safe dish!. Sprinkle some garlic powder ( very lightly) and a very light amount of cumin,then cut a lemon and an orange and squeeze them over the chicken!. Place the used slices in the dish afterwards!. You can then also pour a little honey over them if you prefer!.

Cover and microwave for about 20-25 minutes, depending upon the strength of ur nuke box!. If you have a carousel type, great!. If not, you may wish to rotate about 10 minutes into it!. You may wish to flip chicken or pour of liquids that will build up depending upon taste!. But do leave a little in there to maintain moistureWww@FoodAQ@Com

marinade them in 1/2 white wine vinegar, 1/4 worcester shire, 1/4 soy sauce and a lot of black pepper for 2 hours!. Bake on 350 for 20-25 minutes, then switch on your broiler and broild them until the skin is crisp, not burnt!. won't take long at all so keep an eye on them!.

You can serve that with:

7 boiled potatoes, diced with the skin on, in a small mixing bowl whisk olive oil or melted butter, chopped chives, celery seed, salt, pepper, and some mustard!. Toss potatoes in the dressing!. Serve as warm potatoe salad, you can add diced onion, and dill pickles also!. And the amounts will vary depending on your taste!.

OR

make a bechemel, add diced or shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup carmelized onions and toss over 1/2 - 3/4 cooked pasta, you can mix in pepper and top with crumbled potato chips, bake 350 until chips start to turn golden!. about 15 minutes!.

AND

take some fresh green or wax beans, steam for 2-3 minutes just until crisp!. In a small bowl whisk 2 parts roasted sesame seed oil, 1 part hoisin sauce, 1 part red chile paste(if you like spicy food) and 1 tsp of creamy peanut butter!. top green beans with sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
