Can/May I mix Frying Oils for cooking?!


Question: Can/May I mix Frying Oils for cooking!?
After each frying I filter the grease, now that I'm out of vegetable oil, I have some peanut oil can I add more peanut oil to bring the frying level back up!?

You can go ahead and mix peanut oil with vegetable oil!. If you fried foods at a temperature of 375°!. You should not have any problem with it smoking 375° is the proper temperature to fry most foods using vegetable, canola oil, or peanut oil which is made for higher temperatures like an Asian food cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can mix the two!. Peanut oil is actually much better for frying becasue it has an extrememly high smoke point (440 degrees F)Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes you can, peanut oil is a vegetable oil peanut may burn or smoke so use a little lower heat!. hope this helpsWww@FoodAQ@Com
