It sounds like you may not have a lot of cooking experience!. The most important thing starting off cooking is keep it simple look at Emeralds Recipes Wolfgang Puck recipes Paula Dean recipes for your macaroni cheese, for the ham most important is by a good-quality smoked spiral cut Ham!. Cheaper hams tend to be too salty!.
Your glaze is what's important that finishes the ham, and I like a combination Brown sugar and adjust enough prepared yellow mustard to moisten the brown sugar placed on top of ham!. About 25 minutes before it is finished heating!. You can add just a little ground clove to that mixture!. But be careful to much will make it bitter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love making homemade mac and cheese! I never use a recipe, so the batches never come out the same, but here's what I do!.!.!.

Make a roux (melted butter and flour mixture, how many people are you serving!? That will help you decide how much roux to make) Start by melting 1/2 a cup of butter, once it's melted, slowly add 1/2 a cup of flour until you get a thick sauce!. Add milk (or cream) until you get a nice creamy consistency!.

Here's where things can change to your liking - start adding cut up cheese to the mixture until it melts, I always use ricotta cheese, I love the creamy texture!. You can add any cheese you like really, from Velveeta to Swiss, whatever you like!. Fontina has always been one of my other faves, but can be a little harder to find!. Once your cheese sauce is melted, add it to COOKED pasta, sprinkle bread crumbs over top, and bake until the bread crumbs are golden brown and the whole dish is nice and toasty!.

Hope that helps, it's a pretty simple dish that turns out really well, and you can customize it to your preferences!

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
