What are the ingredients to season a turkey with sage butter?!


Question: What are the ingredients to season a turkey with sage butter!?
this is my first time cooking a turkey and i found a video on you tube and the lady used butter with sage, but the girl did not say the exact recipe!. I was wondering if anybody had an exact recipe!? or what would you recommendWww@FoodAQ@Com

Sage Butter:

2 sticks butter, softened
1/4 cup chopped sage
Salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients!.

Butter with spice added to it is usually called "compound butter"!. It's butter softened to room temperature, then you add the sage (or other spices) and mix it together!.

For my turkey I use butter and "poultry seasoning" which is sage, thyme, rosemary, etc!. Gently run your hand under the skin of the breast, then slather the compound butter over the breast (under the skin)!. This helps with flavor and juiciness!.

sage butter is just what is sounds like!.!.!.add two teaspoons of sage to about a stick of butter!. Sage has a strong taste so I wouldn't add more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
