yes, it will come out fine but the soup may be a little thinner!.!.!.!.!.you may be alble to thicken it by adding a little more rice!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I'm not lactose intolerant or vegan, but I enjoy soy milk!. I've substituted soy milk for milk in a lot of recipes, even simple ones like easy mac!. In my experience, the recipes always turn out close to what they've tasted like with milk; however, because I prefer soy milk the difference might be subtler for me!. It's definitely worth trying!. Perhaps, you could make it for yourself once to make sure it's okay and then you can try making it for your grandpa!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't see why not since you don't have to scald it in the recipe!. The only times you want to be concerned about substituting soy milk for real dairy product is in custards, whipped cream, buttermilk, icecreams, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I don't see why not!. Just use the plain soymilk and you should be fine!. The consistency will be slightly transparent and not as milky!. Small price for your Grandpa's condition!. I would try it!. Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com
I'm sure the dairy is used as a thickening agent in the recipe!. If you use soy milk it should come out just fine, maybe just a little thinner!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
