Lasagna Help- It didn't finish defrosting?!
I have a homemade lasagna and guess I didn't take it out in time for it to finish defrosting!. It is in a 9x13 pyrex and has been out of the freezer for about 7 hours!. So it is partly defrosted!. I would like to go ahead and cook it and I know you can cook frozen lasagna but I don't know how to go about modifying the cooking directions to do so!.
Normally, I would cook the lasagna, covered at 350 for 30, and then for 15 uncovered!. Do I just cook it covered longer!?
Any advice would be appreciated!. I know its a simple thing, but I'm a bit stumped and don't want my lasagna to be overcooked & undercooked in parts!.
Thanks all!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would cook it for at least another 15 minutes or so covered, then take it out and test with a knife in the center to make sure its warm through, if not continue baking and check it every 5 min or so, then once you know its warm through, bake the last 15 uncoveredWww@FoodAQ@Com
Go ahead and bake it as usually!.!.!. just add an additional 15-20 minutes onto it!.!.!.!.!. it will be fine!.!.!. guaranteed!. I have frozen tons of lasagnas and stuffed shells and rigatoni's and placed them right in the oven from the freezer and they turned out just as good!.
Every look on the box of a premade lasagna!.!.!.!. they give directions to cook from the frozen state also!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would cover it tightly and bake at 300 degrees for an hour!. Test the center temp (insert, remove, and *carefully* touch a table knife if you don't have a thermometer) and if it's heated through then kick it up to 350 uncovered for 15 min!.
The pan is shallow enough that it should heat nicely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yup maybe 45 minutes cover and 15 minutes uncover!.im a guy and the only person that likes lasagna in my family so i cook it my self!.never really defrost it,i just put it in over for 350 uncover for about 45 minutes does the trick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would just cook it as you usually do, but a little longer, and just keep checking the middle with a knife to see if it still feels cold, when it feels hot, its done,Www@FoodAQ@Com

I put it in at about 250 for say 45 min to 1 hour then continue as usual!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Since you took it out 7 hours ago, I'd cook it covered 45 min!. then remove the cover and cook til brown on top about 30 min!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would just pop it in the oven at 200 for 15 min or so and then check it!. If it is thawed at that point, cook as usual:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
