Question: What to make with butternut squash for dinner!?
i think i am going to mash the squash with butter!. what should i serve with it!? (no chicken, had that last night)

Get a few thick cut boneless pork chops from the grocery!.

Heat up 3 T canola oil in a skillet!. Season chops with salt, pepper, brown sugar, and a dash cinnamon!. Sear them on high on both sides then move them to a 375 oven for 20 mins!.

Meanwhile, make a brown butter and sage sauce:
1 stick butter melted on low/medium
1/2 tsp!. sugar
Cook over medium heat, stirring often, for about 8 -10 mins!.
Add in lots of chopped FRESH sage leaves and stir for additional 2 mins!.

Serve brown butter sage sauce over pork chops and squash!.

With crusty bread too!

Autumn Pork Chops

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
1 (10!.75 ounce) can Cream of Celery Soup
1/2 cup apple juice or water
2 tablespoons spicy-brown mustard
1 tablespoon honey
Generous dash ground black pepper
Hot cooked medium egg noodles

Heat oil in skillet!. Cook chops 10 minutes or until browned!. Add soup, apple juice, mustard, honey and black pepper!. Heat to a boil!. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes or until chops are done!. Serve with noodles!.

I slice my squash very thin and saute it with garlic powder, salt, and pepper and its fantastic!

Edit: Oops, I thought you wanted a recipe for what to do with butternut squash! lol!. How about grilled pork, or a pasta dish!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
