I am truly an East- Coast girl (Maine) and really, lobster stew is more of a Christmas menu item!.( For the first time I've ever heard of , lobsters are under $2 per lb!!!!!---if you live out of state, call or look online to find someone to ship reasonably out of state!. CRAZY!.!.!.!.!.) But!.!.!.!. I really do like stuffed mushrooms @ Thanksgiving!. There are many ways to do them, you can serve them with a basic stuffing( chopped shroom stems , butter, bread crumbs, cheddar, wh!. wine etc) or you can use a crab stuffed that is really a variation of the same!. Just make sure to delete the cheddar and the proportions are really up to you!. dust the top w/ parm before finishing in the oven!. I take it from the Top Contributor title you probably know how to put a this type of thing together!. Happy Thanksgiving!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am sorry, but what you have listed as appetizers is more things to serve with the meal!. Plus you don't want your guest full before the meal starts!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I put out chilled boiled shrimp, maybe some spicy crab dip if I'm in the mood!. It keeps the hungry family members at bay until the real meal is ready!. (Charleston, SC)Www@FoodAQ@Com
