Question: This is sooo good and i cant find the recipe for it!?
okay well i was telling my family to make a spinach boat for thanksgiving!.!.!.!.!.and if you dont know what a spinach boat is then dont anwser!. A spinach boat is where the spinach dip is cold and it is in the crust of a bread, and all the bread in the middle is cut out of the middle

INGREDIENTS
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (1!.8 ounce) package dry vegetable soup mix
1 (4 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1/2 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 (1 pound) loaf round sourdough or hawaiian bread



DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, water chestnuts and chopped spinach!. Chill in the refrigerator 6 hours, or overnight!.
Remove top and interior of sourdough bread!. Fill with mayonnaise mixture!. Tear removed bread chunks into pieces for dipping!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Spinach Dip

1 cup chopped cooked spinach (1 10 oz!. frozen pkg!.)
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
6 green onions, chopped
1 8-ounce can water chestnuts, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons pepper
a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce
Salt to taste


Squeeze the spinach dry and pat it down with paper towels!.
In a medium bowl stir together all ingredients until well combined!.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours!.

Serve chilled with sour dough bread and raw vegetable dippers like turnip slices and red pepper strips!. Or serve in a scooped-out sour dough bread bowl, if desired, and save the scooped-out bread for dippers!.

Buy a box of Knorr Vegetable Soup!. On the cover of the box you will see the spinach dip made w/ the knorr mix stuffed into a hollowed-out bread round!. The recipe to make it all is on the back of the box, and I put it below for your convenience!.

KNORR SPINACH DIP

1 1/2 c!. sour cream
1 c!. mayonnaise

Loaf of pumpernickel bread, optional

Squeeze spinach until dry!. In medium bowl, stir together spinach, sour cream and soup mix!. Add finely chopped water chestnuts and green onions!. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight!.

Stuff into pumpernickel loaf or serving bowl!.

1 1/2 c!. sour cream
1 c!. mayonnaise (I use Hellman's)
1 (4 oz!.) pkg!. Knorr vegetable soup mix
1 (8 oz!.) can water chestnuts, finely chopped
3 green onions, finely chopped
Loaf of pumpernickel bread

Squeeze spinach until dry!. In medium bowl, stir together spinach, sour cream and soup mix!. Add finely chopped water chestnuts and green onions!. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight!. Cut slice from top of round loaf of pumpernickel bread, hollow out loaf to leave shell to contain dip!. Use bread removed from shell and top slice to cut into bite size pieces!. Butter inside of bread shell, fill loaf with dip and place on platter and surround with bread pieces and variety of raw vegetables!. Then!.!.!.GET OUT OF THE WAY!!! SPINACH DIP

1 pkg!. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 pkg!. Knorr vegetable soup mix
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 c!. mayonnaise
1 c!. sour cream
3 green onions, finely chopped
1 loaf sour dough bread

Mix all ingredients except bread!. Cover; chill for one hour!. Cut a boat for the sour dough by removing a triangular section from the top!. Fill the boat with dip!. Slice the triangular section cut from the top of the loaf and serve with dip!.

Use a good cold spinach dip recipe, then hollow out a round hawaiin bread loaf, sour dough bread bowl, etc!.!.!. Try to remove it in large pieces to use for dipping!. Spray with inside with pam or brush with butter!.

Slice another lof thin and cut into bite sized pieces!. and brush or spray!. toast in the overn until everything is golden brown!.

You could also use a large long loaf, like garlic gread etc!.!.!.!.

Scoop you dipinto the center and serve with veggies and your bread pieces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would find a nice crusty loaf of bread, not fresh, though, hollow it, and dump in a jar of Tostino's spinach dip!. Yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
