Here's a Korean BBQ chicken marinade:
INGREDIENTS
1 cup white sugar
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
4 teaspoons hot chile paste (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1!. In a medium saucepan over high heat, whisk together the sugar, soy sauce, water, onion powder, and ground ginger!. Bring to a boil!. Reduce heat to low, and simmer 5 minutes!.
2!. Remove the mixture from heat, cool, and whisk in lemon juice and hot chile paste!. Place chicken in the mixture!. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 4 hours before preparing chicken as desired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always use my own marinade just so I can adjust the seasonings and add or take away as I wish!.
If you want something interesting, use the following ingredients, and blend them all together, then pour over chicken, let sit for 30 minutes, then you can fry in olive oil, then bake if you want!. Serve with rice!.

-1/2 tspn ground coriander
-1/2 tspn ground cayenne
-1 tspn ground nutmeg or mace
-2 cloves garlic
-1/2 medium onion
-1 small tomato
-1" fresh ginger (optional)
-handful cilantro or parsly
salt and pepper to taste

1/4 c!. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c!. soy sauce

The best one ever is finadene (fin - uh - DEN - ee)!. Marinade for a half an hour and grill!. One of the best things I've brought back from my years on Guam!.

Tequila Lime! You can make it with 1/2 cup tequila and 1/2 cup fresh lime, but Lawry's makes a good bottled one!. I add a bit of cumin and some cayenne pepper as well!.
