Is heavy cream the same as whipping cream?!

Question: Is heavy cream the same as whipping cream!?
Hi there!. I have a recipe for chocolate truffles that calls for "heavy cream"!. I live in Canada, and I've not seen any "heavy cream" yet, though I've just started looking!. If I can't find any, can I use "whipping cream" instead!? Any suggestions would be great!.!.!. Ty in advance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
They are interchangeable for baking!. The only difference is they add an emulsifier to whipping cream to make it easier to whip light and fluffy!. You can safely use either, and it won't affect your recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yep, they are very similar creams (maybe they do it just to confuse us all!!) and whipping cream will be fine for truffles - mmm delicious ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com
