Cottage cheese is a great alternative to ricotta!. I have also mixed ricotta and cottage cheese together in my lasagna and it is good as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I been makin' that way since I was 8 years old, and my recipe comes straight from Italy!.

I did once because I was out of ricotta, it it was really soupy and runny!. It was of a large curd though!. I may give it one more shot after reading this post with a small curd!. We love ricotta though!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally I have never tried it but know people who have, they said it comes out kind of runny!. Tastes good though, I;ll have to try it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
