I need a corn bread stuffing recipe? Step by step please?!

* 1 cup self-rising cornmeal
* 1/2 cup self-rising flour
* 3/4 cup buttermilk
* 2 eggs
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!.
Combine all ingredients and mix well!. Pour batter into a greased shallow baking dish!. Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes!. Remove from oven and let cool!.

stuffing INGREDIENTS:
* 6 cups crumbled cornbread
* 3 cups soft bread crumbs
* 4 ounces butter
* 2 cups onion, chopped
* 2 cups finely chopped celery
* 3 to 4 cups chicken broth
* 2 cups chicken, diced, optional
* 1 heaping tablespoon dried sage, crumbled
* 1 1/2 teaspoons dried leaf thyme, crumbled
* 1 teaspoon dried marjoram, crumbled
* 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, chopped
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
* 2 eggs, lightly beaten
preheat oven to 400oF!.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornbread and white bread crumbs!.
In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté the onion and celery in butter until tender!. Do not brown!.
Combine the sautéed vegetables with the bread mixture!.
Stir in chicken broth, using enough to moisten!.
Stir in the diced chicken, if using, and the seasonings and beaten eggs, blending well!.
Spread the mixture in a large shallow baking or roasting pan measuring about 10" x 15"!. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes!.

OLD SOUTH CORN BREAD STUFFING
4 c!. crumbled corn bread
3 c!. crumbled biscuits
1 1/2 c!. cooked rice
1/4 c!. chopped instant onion
1/2 c!. water
1 1/2 c!. chopped celery
1 tsp!. pepper
1 tsp!. parsley
1/4 tsp!. poultry seasoning
1 tsp!. season all
5 tsp!. chicken seasoned stock base
1 1/2 c!. hot water
1 egg
1/2 c!. milk
1/2 c!. butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees for 40 minutes!. Serves 10!. Combine cornbread, biscuits and rice!. Soak onions in 1/2 cup water for 10 minutes!. Add bread mixture along with celery, pepper, parsley, poultry seasoning and season all!.
Dissolve seasoned stock in hot water!. Beat egg!. Stir in milk!. Add liquids and butter to bread mixture!. Mix well!. Add additional liquid if stuffing seems dry!. Buttered 3 quart baking dish!.

You're gonna get a bunch of answers for this one but I've been cooking for 50 years & the easiest way is to use Stovetop packaged & add your own veggies or sausage!. Don't tell my family but I use it to make my "homemade" oyster dressing!. Make up two boxes using chicken/turkey stock instead of water, Dump in some oysters, hot sauce & celery & a chopped boiled egg!. Voila- you got some damn good dressing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
