Banana pudding using evaporated milk?!


Question: Banana pudding using evaporated milk!?
I have heard that you can use evaporated or condensed milk when making banana pudding!. Does this apply if you are using instant pudding mix!? Any other variations would also be appreciated!. Thank you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should cut the condensed (canned) milk with half water - so if it calls for 2 cups of milk - use 1 cup of canned and 1 cup of water or you can cut it 1-1/2 cups canned and 1/2 cup water for richer taste!.

I would think you could use evaporated in place of regular milk!. It will give it a richer flavor!. Do NOT use sweetened condensed milk unless the recipe says!. This type is not interchangeable with milk/evaporated milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i don't think the type of milk , or what stage the milk is in would really affect anything - unless it was like in yogurt form !. !. !. !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
