Question about baking on a cast iron surface?!

Question: Question about baking on a cast iron surface!?
Can you use a cast iron surface to bake on instead of a pizza stone!? We are making Naan bread and don't have a pizza stone!. Would this put too much iron in our food!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
For indoor cooking, cast-iron skillets can be used on top of the stove or to bake in the oven!. For outdoors, you can use a gas or charcoal grill, or a campfire!. Whatever heating source you use, remember that cast iron gets very hot, including the handles, so be sure to have pot handle holders at the ready!. Lids and covers are available to fit any size skillet, and need the same seasoning and care as any cast iron would!.

LOL first of all, you can never have to much iron ( Im anemic) Second just make sure you have seasoned it properly ( it WILL smoke) and try some corn meal on the surface, this will keep it from sticking, but it may give a bit of a crunch from the corn mealWww@FoodAQ@Com
