A question about thawed turkey, could someone please help?!

Question: A question about thawed turkey, could someone please help!?
We bought our turkey for Thanksgiving last night (frozen!.) We stuck it in the fridge so that it could start thawing out, but by the calculations I have found on many websites, it will be thawed by about Monday (it is a 14 pound bird!.) Will it be okay for it to sit in the fridge from Monday until Thursday unthawed or will it start to go bad!? Sorry, this is my first Thanksgiving so I am a rookie!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should be fine as long as it's in the refridgerator!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think you will be okay-but I usually fill up my sink (cleaned)with cold water and put in the turkey-wrapper and all)frozen)!. Change the water often-taking off the wrapper when you can do so, and eventually taking out the packets inside the turkey that have the giblets and some have a gravy mix in them- and let it thaw the rest of the way!. This will be good for your next turkey!. My family has done it this way since I was little-and we always have been fine-I'd rather thaw a turkey in this manner!.

To each their own! Happy Thanksgiving!Www@FoodAQ@Com

depends how cold your fridge is!. I bought a turkey two weeks ago, had it in the fridge for 5 days and it was still part frozen!. It felt thawed to the touch, but when i went to take out the giblet back the inside was froze!. check it the night before!. If needed you can finish thawing in cold water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It'll be fine!. Just a little tip, put something under the bird to catch the juices when it's thawing!. Happy Thanksgiving!Www@FoodAQ@Com
