I would suggest fondant!. Take your fondant and separate it into pieces and color each piece a camouflage color, then take palm size amounts and slowly put together to form a ball!. Take the ball and roll it out, and you should have the camouflage look!. Good Luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can get coloured fondant at most bakery supply places or you might try Michael's for it!. If they don't have it then make your own frosting and colour it!. I found that food colouring sold at the market usually comes in primary colours, but in a little bowl try mixing them to get the variations in the greens that you want!. You can put some leaves on the cake as well and most of the bakery or cake places have them premade for wedding cakes!. They are usually white, but you can paint them with food colouring!.
I found this frosting recipe and there is a note about making it stiffer using powdered sugar!. If you plan on painting the cake, frost it first and set it in the fridge for a couple of hours so that the frosting dries out a bit!. Then let it come to room temp before painting - so it does not "sweat" the paint off!.
Add together 1/2 cup shortening, 1/4 cup milk, 1 teaspoon imitation vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in mixing bowl and beat thoroughly!.
Step2 Gradually add the 2 cups powdered sugar!. If it is too thin, add more powdered sugar!. If it is too thick, add milk a little at a time until desired consistency is reached!. Make sure there are no shortening lumps, even little ones as it ruins the consistency of good flavor!. (At this point it might be good to taste test a little to see if it is flavored correctly--add a little more vanilla if not quite right)!.
Step3
Frosted Cookies
Once the proper consistency is reached, the frosting may be used to frost whatever dessert chosen to use it on!. Food coloring may be added to make the frosting more festive!. Don't forget sprinkles or toppings like nuts or coconut! Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm no cake professional, :) , but I would suggest trying the icing that you can spray on!. I would definitely test it first!. Otherwise you'll probably have to mix your own dye for the icing and ice different parts of the cake to give it a camoflauge look!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
