Question: Any suggestions for how I can cook chicken drumsticks tonight for dinner!?
I don't want anything too complicated, but does anyone know a good recipe for cooking chicken drumsticks for dinner!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

8-12 chicken drumsticks
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup water
3 tablespoons olive oil or canola oil
1 teaspoon ginger (optional)
Directions
1Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat!.
2Brown chicken pieces in hot oil!.
3While chicken is browning, mix together the soy sauce, sugar, water, and ginger!.
4Add the sauce to the chicken!.
5Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium low and let simmer, uncovered, for about 20 to 30 minutes or until chicken is done and sauce has thickened!.
6Turn chicken pieces occasionally during cooking process!.
7Serve over cooked rice!.(We use short grain "sticky rice" prepared in a rice cooker!.)!.
8Serve excess sauce along side, people always seem to want more of it!.

Balsamic Chicken Drumettes
Ingredients
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
5 sprigs of rosemary
5 garlic cloves, halved
10 to 12 chicken drumsticks
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Directions
Combine the balsamic, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, rosemary sprigs, and garlic cloves, in a large, re-sealable plastic bag!. Shake and squeeze the contents of the bag to dissolve the honey and the brown sugar!. Add the chicken drumsticks to the bag and seal with as little air as possible in the bag!. Place in the refrigerator and marinate for 2 hours!.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F!.

Place the chicken drumsticks on a foil-lined baking sheet!. Bake until the skin is caramelized and very dark in spots, about 30 to 35 minutes!.

Meanwhile, place the marinade in a small saucepan!. Bring the marinade to a boil (in order to kill bacteria)!. Reduce the heat to simmer and cook over low heat until thick, about 15 minutes!. Reserve!.

Use a pastry brush to brush some of the cooked marinade on the cooked chicken!. Place the chicken on a serving platter!. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and the chopped parsley!.

Cook's note: I like the rosemary and garlic flavors in the background!. Brushing the cooked drumettes with the reduced marinade helps the flavors along!. also, re-moistening helps the parsley and the seeds to adhere!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

CHICKEN DRUMSTICK RECIPE


Ingredients for Chicken Drumstick
6 Chicken Drumsticks
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp All-purpose flour
2 tbsp corn flour
2 eggs (beaten)
1/4 tsp pepper / chili powder
A pinch of sugar
Salt To Taste
1 tbsp Soya sauce
Oil for frying

In a bowl add Soya sauce, ginger-garlic paste, sugar!.
Add chicken wings coat well and set aside for 1/2 hour!.
Make a smooth batter by adding corn flour, all purpose flour, salt, pepper and beat in the eggs !.
Heat oil in a wok, deep fryer, or a large skillet!.
Dip each wing in the batter and coat evenly and deep fry the drumsticks till golden brown!.
Serve chicken drumsticks hot with thin slices of onions and lemon!.your chicken drumsticks ready

Chicken:- Drums, Crispy Seasoned

4 Serves:
Ingredients
8 Tegel fresh or frozen chicken drums, thawed
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, oregano,
Thyme or parsley finely chopped
Finely grated zest of lemon
1 tsp salt
Ground pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 egg
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce!.
Method
Pre-heat oven to 180?C!.
Mix together breadcrumbs, garlic, herbs, zest and seasoning and place in a flat dish!.
In a separate dish, beat together egg, oil and Worcestershire sauce!. Dip drumsticks into the egg mixture, shake off excess liquid, and then roll in the breadcrumb mix to coat!.
Place crispy chicken drums in an oven pan and bake for 40 minutes or until chicken tests cooked when a sharp knife is inserted deep into the meat and the juices run clear!.

Mediterranean Lemon Chicken

1 lemon
2 teaspoons dried oregano
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 chicken legs

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C)!.
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, grate the peel from 1/2 the lemon, squeeze out the juice (about 1/4 cup) and add to peel with the oregano, garlic, oil, salt and pepper!. Stir until mixed!.
Remove skin from chicken pieces and discard!. Coat chicken pieces with the lemon mixture and arrange, bone side up, in the baking dish!. Cover dish and bake for 20 minutes!. Turn and baste chicken!.
Reduce heat to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) and bake uncovered, basting every 10 minutes, for about 30 more minutes!. Serve chicken with pan juices over hot cooked rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

1/2 c!. butter
16 chicken drumsticks
Salt and pepper
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp!. water
Packaged potato flakes

Melt butter in a 9x13 baking pan!. Season drumsticks!. Mix egg and water together in a shallow pan!. Dip drumsticks in egg mixture and then roll them in potato flakes!. Place them in the baking pan and bake for one hour at 300 degrees!. Turn drumsticks once during baking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

crush one package corn flakes using rolling pin and keep them in the bag they came in!.
add to that 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon ground sage
and then spray the entire contents with pam for a couple of minutes!.

dip chicken in milk then shake in the "shake and bake" Lay on baking sheet that has been sprayed with pam!.

bake at 350 for 1 hour!.

i like to season it real good with salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley BBQ seasoning!.!.!.!.!.and either i just bake it or sometimes fry it a little to make it a little crispier!.!.!. then in a pan i mix some BBQsaucee<any kid works> with franks hotsaucee and some brown sugar!.!.!.and alittlevinegarr!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and just pour thesaucee over all the chicken in a bowl and make Shur every things coverd!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I put mine in bread crumbs!. Just pour some bread crumbs in a bag!. Drop in you chicken and shake!. Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with Pam!. Put your chicken on the foil, toss in the oven at 350 for an hour, quick, easy and Delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

my mom always put them in a baking pan and covered them with bbq sauce!. it's easy- just put them in a pan and cover them and forget about it for about 30 min!. or so!.

if it is early enough you can throw them in a crock pot with alittle water on bottom and cook all day!. then pour bbq sauce all over them!.!.
