How many days does it take for salmon to go bad after you take it out of the freezer and put it into the fridge!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
as long as it's still looks fresh and doesn't smell extremely fishy!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't go any longer than 4 days with fish from a frozen state, so you should use it tonight or tomorrow, after that!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.trust me, you won't want to eat it!. The old rule of thumb is, "If is smells fishy, than it's not fresh" (even if it was frozen) I inspect our fresh fish everyday and have smelled some fish that is right on the cusp of freshness, but I won't accept it because it's just not worth it and neither should you!. So, safe eating and thanks for asking, this is important for all of us to know!. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should still be good if it's been in the fridge the whole time!. Yesterday it would have been thawing so I wouldn't count that as a whole day!. It would probably be good for a day or 2 yet!.!.!. but I'd use it sooner rather than later!. If it wasn't refrigerated then I'd toss it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Smell it!. If it smells lightly of the ocean, you're good!. If it smells like the warf at low tide, toss it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it doesn't smell and isn't slimy it should be ok, as long as you plan to cook it right away!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it was well sealed 3-4 days would be my recommended time for fresh, but if it is smoked you could add a day or two!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should be ok today - but that's about as long as I would chance it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
