Just look on the back of a bottle of Karo syrup, which you'll find in the baking section of the grocery store (where the flour, sugar and the like are kept)

My rendidtions on Pecan Pie: Chocolate, add chocolate chips

Here's a pie that fills the bill, BOTH pecan and Pumpkin:

The easiest ( and the best traditional recipe) is found in your grocery store's BAKING isle!. Look 2 places!. First, on the back of a bag of shelled pecans located with all the nuts in the baking isle!. If you don't find a recipe there, look on a bottle of Cairo Syrup ( also found in the baking isle) Stick to those recipes for a tried and true recipe!. Forget the chocolate and other add-ins if you want a true pecan pie!. also, don't worry about making the pie crust!. Just go to the DAIRY section of your market and look for pre-made, rolled out crust either near the eggs, the cookie dough or the yeast! It's usually in a red or blue box!. It's the easiest pie to make!.!.very few ingredients and even a non baker can make it! In a pinch and just don't have the time !.!.!.buy one pre-made! Pecan pie is one that tastes the same whether homemade or store bought for the most part! Even the frozen ones are good! ( although you can never pretend with an apple pie!) To make a pre-made pecan pie look more unique, add some whipped cream to the top with a piece of store bought pecan (or any other nut) brittle to each piece! n No one will complain!Www@FoodAQ@Com
