Answers:
No, do not use oil!. Your best bet would be to use a non stick frying pan!. Heat on medium high heat and place patty in pan!.!.turn after 5 minutes or so!.
If you have to use stainless steel, make sure the pan is hot, place patty in the pan and don't go to flip it until it releases itself from the pan, if it appears to be sticking, it's not ready to turn!. use medium high heat!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on the pan but more on the burger - ground beef can be had from 25% fat to 4% fat - lately I have been buying 7%!. In a seasoned iron pan or non-stick, you should need no fat, but in stainless steel, you may find the lower percents 10% fat or less may stick when the meat is thrown in a hot pan - some oil is needed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on the meat!. If you're using meat with a very low fat content, using oil would be a good idea!. The cheapest hamburger at the store is usually 25-27% fat, and you do not need to use oil!. I use light olive oil for anything with less than 10% fat, especially if pan frying!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

No need to add oil, hamburger is typically fatty enough to cook without added oil!. Just put your patties in the skillet and fry on med/hi heat until they start to sizzle then move med/low heat until your desired temp!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

the fat content of hamburger is good enough to cook in you don't need oilWww@FoodAQ@Com

no need and it's not healthy either!. there is enough fat in the ground beef already!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

your brother is right!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
